A Letter to One of my Fans about my Walk with God
Dear Friend:
I don’t get it, but I seem to make a lot of difference in a lot of people’s lives. But I am using the gifts Jesus has given to me. I actually prayed that I would only marry in God’s will before I married so was quite puzzled for much of my young life, why God allowed me to marry my first husband. But now I know it was to prepare me for my second husband, Brent Spiner, who is my soulmate and who I am very proud of. I was ashamed of my first husband, even though he did fool a lot of people, I am never proud of one’s reputation but of who they REALLY ARE. But marrying him (my ex), took away a lot of self-righteousness in my life.
I think my next book Bible for Tribulation Saints will be very helpful for many people to learn how to walk with God in our confusing and difficult times.
It seems whenever we obey Jesus it’s just good for every person who comes into our sphere. And when we disobey him, it’s the opposite. God has a plan for each of us. I find John MacArthur’s book Found: God’s Will very helpful in this regard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGnHAqu9Geo
It always makes me feel good to know that God is using me to bring the peace and joy of Jesus into their life. It seems that whenever God is behind a friendship or an alliance, that it ends up being a blessing to all parties in that friendship or alliance. Thanks for all your great support!
The few times that I have not wanted to do what Jesus wanted me to do, it was because I was on the wrong path and misunderstood God’s intentions for me at that time. This one song really speaks to me, about how I find that once I am back on my path and am IN TUNE with Jesus, I actually end up wanting to do what he wants me to do! John MacArthur’s message really explains how that works. So I find if I don’t want to do something Jesus wants me to do, it’s because I have gotten off my path and am no longer IN TUNE with him. And then as I go forward, I see his plan unfold and I am just AMAZED.
