Writing Advice from Buddha (2023) & Jesus (2013-2014)
Got some writing advice from Buddha yesterday (July 5, 2023). It was very similar to writing advice I got from Jesus in 2013 and 2014 (when Jesus used to meet with us over Skype). I included Jesus’s advice in this post.

Every time I get on that bed to read a writing craft book, you’re in the mood. LOL and I end up having some “time” with you.

Buddha: “It is important to be joyful in doing any kind of work, and to enjoy the finished product. In fact, this is more important than following any writing technique there is.”
Buddha: “I do have a few critiques, which I hear you rather like to receive, with regards to technique and Jesus’ vision for this project.”

Buddha: “From a pure writing standpoint, my main critique would be the use of what they call plagiarism. It is the sin of writers. Plagiarism is defined by the stealing of ideas, which includes direct transcripts of other works. My advice would be to remove all transcripts from the works, and simply indicate to readers that they could go to the source material for such information. This will greatly de-bulk your writing and prune it down to the most valuable parts.”

Buddha: “It also appears that you have become too focused on techniques and methods. The spirit of the story becomes lost. You must focus more strongly on the soul of the writing.”

Buddha: “It is like a chef baking a cake by following every measurement to the letter, and not stopping to taste if the batter is sweet. Perhaps, he should add more sugar, or less. He would not know, because he is not enjoying his cake and is only baking it.”
Buddha: “You must focus less on the methods. In fact, you are such a talented writer, my advice would be to throw them all out. You, Gail, are like a chef that can bake a most soulful cake without needing any instructions.”

Buddha: “Feel the passion that goes into your writings, and know that it is perfect and complete upon containing them.”

I try to get in the “zone” before I write, by listening to music that touches me. The problem with that, is that I seem to go off on tangents that may be confusing to the reader.

Buddha: “The zone is good. You can certainly herd in your tangents when you catch yourself doing them.”

I think reading the writing craft books was good, because they will help me herd in my tangents. But perhaps I have the knowledge I need going forward now, that I don’t need to read them anymore.

Buddha: “One thing that will become very important to this project, is that you must set a definite time to complete a story, and from that point forward there are to be no more re-writes. You must allow your work to be finished.”

It sounds like Lauren Sapala’s advice for intuitive writers applies to me. That’s kind of how she advises people with my temperament to write.
Interesting, is I think she’s a Buddhist, too. LOL
However, she does not say not to rewrite.

Buddha: “The end goal for the project is for there to be a series of short stories that summarize the events of your life and adventures with your men, so that anyone can pick up these books to catch up and understand.”

I was excited about an Institutionalized theme in the overall work.

Buddha: “This should ease the stress of needing to write them perfectly or in great depth. It will also free you of writer’s block, since you are only covering real events without need for artistic license.”

Buddha: “Remember the Gail Commandments, as well. These should come first and foremost. As Buddhists like to say, “chop wood and carry water”. It may seem like a chore, but it is important to your mind, health and spirit and is what supports your journey.”

Buddha: “Chopping wood and carrying buckets of water can be seen as laborous tasks for young monks, who perhaps only wanted to meditate all day. They did not realize that these daily tasks were important to their spiritual health.”
Buddha: “A good homework assignment I could give you would be to compile a list of all of the short stories for the book series. This will help guide you on where to go next. Brent and Zack can help give you feedback on the stories and timeline.”

JESUS CHRIST: I noticed that you copy-pasted conversations from chat logs, and old journals of yours. It’s okay to reference those things, but I think it robs your readers of your amazing writing skills. Those chat logs and journal writings were already written and could be read by themselves, without the reader having to read your book. Also, in essence, you kind of plagiarized your own work.
JESUS CHRIST: What I loved about Silver Skies is that, while it told your story with Brent, it was all original content.

JESUS CHRIST: The scenes with Zack Knight and Satan are along the lines of where I think your creativity is most brilliant.

JESUS CHRIST: Well, when you do a news report and share specific chat logs or journals, it makes things accurate in terms of events. In terms of showing accuracy in the characters’ hearts and souls, the novel-style fictional scenes are what really showcase that.
[9/1/2013 11:39:07 PM] Gail Schuler: What I do is study the chat scenes to get a feel for my character’s heart and soul, but instead of using an exact transcription, you want me to go deep into the heart and soul of the character and sort of “jump off” of the real dialogue into deeper dialogue and thoughts based on the real transcription?

JESUS CHRIST: That’s a tough question. I really love the whole book (referring to The Forbidden Abyss).

I was planning on using the technique you just suggested to go deep into the characters of Zack Knight and Rule 13.
JESUS CHRIST: I knew you would catch on as you were writing this book. Basically, anyone can just read the transcripts and chat logs and know what happened. That doesn’t give them a reason to read your book. It’s like the difference between taking a photograph of a scene and an artist painting a picture of the same scene.
JESUS CHRIST: The painting may not be as accurate, but instead, it flows with the colors and energies that emanated within the artist that they felt best needed to be highlighted, in order to convey the spiritual beauty of what they had just witnessed.

I plan to reveal to the world the heart and soul of Zack Knight and Rule 13, perhaps parts of themselves that they themselves won’t even acknowledge. JESUS CHRIST: It appeals to the gay Jesuits, apparently.

JESUS CHRIST: About once a week, they meet. Sometimes more depending on what’s going on at the time. He wants Zack Knight to worship and serve him unconditionally, and reserve all of his love for him only. To do that, Zack must carry out heartless acts of evil and destroy love.

JESUS CHRIST: Your own intuition is brilliant. I gave it to you for a reason.

JESUS CHRIST: He’s a bit perverse over the rape scenes, but I think secretly, it’s going to lead to him enjoying the story.
JESUS CHRIST: I wonder how he’d react to a love scene with him and Rule 13 that wasn’t rape. He’d probably cry like he did over The Thornbirds.
[12:01:17 AM] Gail Schuler: Oh, I plan on having lots of scenes like that in my next book! If he thinks this book is a page turner, he’ll probably stay up all night to read the next one!

JESUS CHRIST: Man, Satan is going to hate that.
[12:03:11 AM] Gail Schuler: Good! He’s terrible. I sense that many Jesuits are questioning whether some of what Satan instructs them is fair.
[12:03:42 AM] Gail Schuler: I plan on making them question it even more. I don’t think a true Jesuit will be able to read the next book with a dry eye.
JESUS CHRIST: Your intuition is so sharp.
[12:05:05 AM] Gail Schuler: You see, once I expose that there is a deep side to Zack Knight that Satan pounces on, and I show how he struggles over his love for 13, he will be as tragic a character as Ralph DeBriccasart of The Thornbirds. That book made me cry.

JESUS CHRIST: I often feel sad for Zack Knight, because in reality he is such a tragic character. I made people so that they could love each other, and he’s being duped by Satan to go against that.

[12:08:00 AM] Gail Schuler: So, it is true that Satan constantly talks him out of commitment to Rule 13 and that Zack is capable of loving her truly.
JESUS CHRIST: Yes, that’s true.
[12:08:36 AM] Gail Schuler: Oh, Jesus, that is so sad. I must write my tear jerker. Why does Zack punish himself like this?
[12:08:51 AM] Gail Schuler: Is he scared of Satan?
JESUS CHRIST: He’s scared of both Satan, and me.
[12:09:31 AM] Gail Schuler: You? But you would LOVE IT IF HE LOVED RULE 13.
JESUS CHRIST: Of course! But think of how many people out there fear God.
JESUS CHRIST: Some people figure that Satan will give them more free will and let them give in to the temptations they want without judgment.
JESUS CHRIST: But sin comes at a very high price, and before they know it, they’re sucked in and can’t get out.
[12:10:55 AM] Gail Schuler: Wow, that was my gut feeling about how Jesuits think. My intuition is brilliant.
JESUS CHRIST: Mistakes can snowball.
[12:11:45 AM] Gail Schuler: It sounds like Zack and the Jesuits underestimate your forgiveness or overestimate their weaknesses.
JESUS CHRIST: Both.
[12:12:11 AM] Gail Schuler: I see, this is something I need to explore in my book.
JESUS CHRIST: Anyone can be saved, even the Antichrist. But he doesn’t believe it. He sees himself as stuck with Satan.
[12:13:15 AM] Gail Schuler: Yeah, how does that work? How could I convince Zack that he CAN be saved, even though he’s the Antichrist?
JESUS CHRIST: You’re doing a great job of highlighting his depth and the weaknesses he refuses to acknowledge, while showing what he’s missing out on by obeying Satan’s rules.
[12:14:29 AM] Gail Schuler: Right now the Jesuits are increasing the pollen count.
[12:14:51 AM] Gail Schuler: I’m glad to hear that. So this first book is making him think.
JESUS CHRIST: I’ll offer some healing for your allergies tonight.

[12:17:27 AM] Gail Schuler: I seem to have leftover yeast toxins in my cells. I noticed today when I helped my mom with gardening, that it was painful.
JESUS CHRIST: I’ll clear enough to help you get better rest tonight, and resolve some of the yeast toxins, but I can’t do too much or Satan will notice.

[12:17:41 AM] Gail Schuler: Thank you.
[12:18:33 AM] Gail Schuler: I’m feeling worse, not better. But perhaps Satan is retaliating and increasing the pollen count.
JESUS CHRIST: I’ll punch him in the balls.
[12:19:08 AM] Gail Schuler: You mean it is Satan and not Zack Knight doing this?
JESUS CHRIST: I meant Zack Knight. He’s like Satan’s right hand.
[12:20:06 AM] Gail Schuler: How does he do this? Is he using Jesuits? Or is he using technology?
JESUS CHRIST: They have technology that can control pollen levels in the atmosphere.
[12:20:51 AM] Gail Schuler: How does that technology work?
JESUS CHRIST: Each controller is like a massive generator that emits wave signals into the earth’s atmosphere, and causes the plants to release their pollen. They can even calibrate each generator to work together with the others to center the pollen in one area over another. For instance, over all of Florida, but not Georgia, or over your specific town.
[12:23:50 AM] Gail Schuler: I figured they had to have something like this. It was just too brilliant. Did Rule 13 become a Jesuit because she fell in love with Zack after he seduced her?
JESUS CHRIST: Yes. At first she lusted after him like many Jesuit women do, but working so closely with him, she was soon able to see his depth.
[12:26:10 AM] Gail Schuler: Does Rule 13 have genius I.Q.?
JESUS CHRIST: Oh yes. That’s part of what made her such a deadly Jesuit.
[12:26:51 AM] Gail Schuler: That’s what I thought. Did Zack make her the head of his military because he loves her the most?
JESUS CHRIST: Secretly, yes. He would never admit it. If you would ask him, he would be vulgar and say it’s because of her perfect body and tiny breasts, and then secondly her steadfast obedience.
JESUS CHRIST: Once Rule 13 is committed to a cause, or a person, she never lets them down. Even if it meant destroying the world for them.
[12:29:21 AM] Gail Schuler: What made Rule 13 decide to commit to Zack Knight?
JESUS CHRIST: As a Jesuit, she would have to say that it’s because of his perfect penis and genius sex moves. As a Nazi supporter, she sees him like she saw Hitler — a man devoted to his cause and his people even in the face of great adversity, a man that strives for perfection and values obedience.
JESUS CHRIST: She couldn’t help but submit to his extreme masculinity and leadership qualities.
[12:33:36 AM] Gail Schuler: Why did she decide to commit to me? I’m sure this is causing her great conflict, because she can’t commit to me and Zack at the same time and be loyal to us both.
JESUS CHRIST: She thinks you too are a vast person with strong leadership qualities, carrying the genes of Catherine the Great and being bestowed Empress of Russia. When you had Vladimir nuke the city of Jesuit babies, you did so without hesitation, regardless of what people might say about you, because you knew it was the right thing to do.
[12:36:58 AM] Gail Schuler: Oh, so there’s no conflict for her then. Jesus, I don’t feel safe extrapolating your dialogue in my book. I am afraid I may misrepresent you. That’s one reason I have been using exact transcriptions on you.
JESUS CHRIST: Oh, there is great conflict!
JESUS CHRIST: In a way, she had to become your friend because you two are technically family, since Brianna is the daughter of both of you. This is what caused her to open her eyes and really look at you. She soon discovered a woman who she could not only respect, but who could understand her inner depths regarding true love, and devotion to who she loves the most.
[Brianna came about because Rule 13 used stolen eggs from Gail and stolen sperm from Terrance to create Brianna, who was implanted into Rule 13’s womb. The Jesuits used the Brianna baby as a hostage, with Pope Benedict holding the baby while Vladimir Putin bombed the Vatican on Nov. 28, 2011. The Pope died (even though Gail’s men tried to save him), because Jesuits put a bomb on him, and the Pope was then replaced with an automaton. Gail’s men transported the Brianna baby to a field and adopted her.]
JESUS CHRIST: However, as much as she may respect you, you are also her greatest enemy, because you go against the goals she has dedicated her life to, and the goals of the man she has promised to die for in order to serve him. At no cost must she allow you to succeed.

JESUS CHRIST: Yes, you have become BFFs. As you can see, the matter is complicated.
[12:40:28 AM] Gail Schuler: I’m ignoring Zack Knight, but he’s always making moves on me.
JESUS CHRIST: Should the treaty be dissolved, what would her choice be? Her powerful loyalties would become divided.
[12:41:07 AM] Gail Schuler: Is it okay to use some transcription in my next book?
[12:41:47 AM] Gail Schuler: I like the authentic feel and I don’t feel safe creating dialogue for you, though I did a little in Silver Skies.
JESUS CHRIST: It should be fine to use a little transcription now and then, if you feel it makes the scene more powerful. Just be careful not to get into the habit of reporting events, rather than surrounding the dialogue with story elements.
[12:43:07 AM] Gail Schuler: That makes perfect sense. You understand completely my writer’s mindset, as if you took all the same writing courses I took.
[12:44:06 AM] Gail Schuler: I actually feel that my first book was meant to be the way it turned out and that this second book is meant to be different. That’s how I feel about these books.
JESUS CHRIST: You catch on so quickly.

[12:44:55 AM] Gail Schuler: For this book, I am thinking of ending it with the GA1L Android. You know when we beat her in battle. Good idea?
JESUS CHRIST: That would be an excellent cliffhanger.
[12:46:18 AM] Gail Schuler: I like that because that’s when Rule 13 really loved me, cuz I cried when she died. It will help to promote this next book’s theme.
[12:48:39 AM] Gail Schuler: Oh, one more thing. This first book was foremost an event story (about the correction of a disorder). I am thinking of making the second book foremost a character story, where I will explore Rule 13 and Zack Knight not happy with their role in life and striving to change that role or find peace in that role. But with a very strong secondary event story (exploration of disorder). Or should I make it about the disorder (Satan) and make the character story secondary?
JESUS CHRIST: Can you try both?

JESUS CHRIST: I do think it may be a good idea to let the character story shine in this next book. It would help with the narrative aspects.

But if Jesus says it’s okay, then I’ll go on. I have noticed that some of the “bugs” seem to highlight certain portions. Makes me wonder if perhaps Jesus was behind these bugs.

JESUS CHRIST: It’s unfortunate, but, it doesn’t stop the book from being read to children all over the world. I’m very proud of that book of yours (referring to The Forbidden Abyss Part One).
[12:09:59 AM] Gail Schuler: Okay, so I will write a short story about what happened when Vladimir discovered Obama’s head in a jar. Right now, the first thing that comes to my mind, is that this is a precursor to what Zack will do in the tribulation, according to the book of Revelation.
[12:10:48 AM] Gail Schuler: It also shows I must have been brilliant when I depicted the blood filled tubes in my novel Silver Skies. That book is truly prophetic.
JESUS CHRIST: The future will take care of itself. Right now, that isn’t something I’d like for any of my followers to concern themselves with.
JESUS CHRIST: I think it’s more important right now for your life story to be told to your followers.
JESUS CHRIST: I want you to tell the world what really happened using the writing skills I’ve been training in you.
JESUS CHRIST: Use all of your senses, your characterization skills, and research old emails or transcripts if you have to.
JESUS CHRIST: Vladimir went through a great trial when he had to make the decision to nuke Obama’s head. It traumatized him.
[12:15:11 AM] Gail Schuler: Okay, so it appears that these creative writing lessons may end up becoming part of the book, when I get back to the book.

JESUS CHRIST: I was looking for a story that explained what happened when Vladimir and the men went in to find Obama’s head being kept alive with blood filled tubes.
JESUS CHRIST: Instead, you have been incorporating all sorts of out of context information from the past, including some events which are entirely fictional. It also has become a novella instead of a short story.
JESUS CHRIST: I was using the short story exercise in part to pause The Forbidden Abyss (Part Two) because it was going in the same direction. Too many tangents, and everything was getting confused.
JESUS CHRIST: I feel that the writing has been awfully unbalanced.
[4:24:07 PM] Gail Schuler: So you don’t want me to use the video series from the FSU creative writing professor for this story?
[4:24:29 PM] Gail Schuler: Of course, those are for a short story.
[4:24:45 PM] Gail Schuler: Unbalanced? What do you mean?
JESUS CHRIST: Well, for example, I asked about what happened during a specific time frame and you began to tell Vladimir’s life story.
JESUS CHRIST: Some of which became inaccurate. I did want for this story to be non-fiction because I wanted to be able to use it for historical contexts.
JESUS CHRIST: This is also not a story about judo concepts.

[4:26:45 PM] Gail Schuler: What do you mean by historical contexts?
JESUS CHRIST: I only want you to write about what happened. Perhaps getting into the mindset of writing for a TV show would help you.

[4:30:45 PM] Gail Schuler: I was trying to make this a character story, because you said you wanted me to use my characterization skills.
JESUS CHRIST: I was very pleased with your last book because of how simple the scenes were and how they each flowed from one another. It was also clearly non-fiction with very little speculation.
JESUS CHRIST: Perhaps it would be a good idea to reference the emails you exchanged with Brent about the events that happened. Then simply tell the story within the framework of those contexts.
[4:31:50 PM] Gail Schuler: You did tell me not to use transcripts for this next book, so I tried to make it more like a novel.

JESUS CHRIST: Yes, now you understand.
JESUS CHRIST: It’s as if I asked you to write a story about eating an apple, and you gave me the history of the apple farm it came from and the life of the apple farmer.
[4:34:47 PM] Gail Schuler: Basically, I have been studying the novel form for my writings, and it appears you don’t want me to write what the literary community calls “creative non-fiction”?
JESUS CHRIST: Your non-fiction is already creative Gail.
[4:36:06 PM] Gail Schuler: But why did you tell me NOT to use transcripts?
JESUS CHRIST: I wanted you to reference the transcripts, but not copy-paste transcripts into your new writings on the subject.
[4:36:45 PM] Gail Schuler: Reference the transcripts?
JESUS CHRIST: Yes. So you can remember the events that happened.
[4:37:07 PM] Gail Schuler: How do I create dialogue, then?
[4:37:28 PM] Gail Schuler: I run the risk of quoting something that was not really said. I could be inaccurate.
JESUS CHRIST: The problem is not quoting specific statements, but with copying entire segments of a transcript and calling it original.
JESUS CHRIST: You also have the freedom to intuitively create dialogue that you know your men might have said. You know them well enough.
JESUS CHRIST: I have some ideas that may set this on the right track.
JESUS CHRIST: I think an interesting start for the book would be to have Vladimir returning from the event, traumatized, and perhaps the story could be told from the perspective of Vladimir telling Gerard Butler what happened the day he and Brent went to go investigate news of unusual Jesuit activity.
[4:41:00 PM] Gail Schuler: Wait a minute, you said a short story! Now you are calling this a book?
JESUS CHRIST: Brent made a typo.
JESUS CHRIST: My apologies, I may be talking too fast for him.

JESUS CHRIST: So now you are using references the way I wanted you to.

JESUS CHRIST: I’d like you to use the references and transcripts you have for factual accuracy, but not to exactly copy from.

JESUS CHRIST: I’d say copy-pasting the transcripts between you and Brent.
JESUS CHRIST: For the second one, it was a lack of focus and over complication of the plot.
JESUS CHRIST: I know you’ve always enjoyed harsh criticism during your growth as a writer Gail, which is why I’m giving it to you. I know you can handle this.
[4:49:26 PM] Gail Schuler: I was trying to arc the story as a character story, so I thought it was focused, but I think I was too close to the story to know this.

JESUS CHRIST: So, I would like you to take this information and practice with this short, and relatively simple story.
JESUS CHRIST: I don’t think it requires labels. It doesn’t matter to me whether you call it a short story or a novella. My only concerns are that it doesn’t take you more than a week to write, stays on topic and is factual.

JESUS CHRIST: Your writing comes out best when it’s from you and your own wisdom.
[4:54:54 PM] Gail Schuler: Do you want me to stop approaching my work as fiction, and approach it more like a news reporter?
JESUS CHRIST: When you take too much advice from others, you begin to write like them, and less like yourself. It’s confusing the reader and it covers up your own writing charm.
[4:55:18 PM] Gail Schuler: That sounds like omniscient POV?
[4:55:51 PM] Gail Schuler: This is what I did with “The Forbidden Abyss: Part One“. I used omniscient POV (point of view).
[Omniscient POV means the reader views the story through the heart and mind of a God-like narrator who can go into everyone’s heart and mind as necessary as opposed to first person, where the story is told through the eyes of an “I, me, mine” character who tells the story strictly through his/her own heart and mind.]
JESUS CHRIST: You could do that with this story as well.
[4:56:26 PM] Gail Schuler: Because I went to first person POV, I had to go deeper than you intended, I’m afraid.
JESUS CHRIST: It might be a good idea to stay away from first person if you think you’ll fall back into that habit.
JESUS CHRIST: You can still write an emotional story without necessarily having to be first person.
[4:57:20 PM] Gail Schuler: Yes, in order to go into first person, I have to dig into the person’s soul, and here is where I become an “actress” using my imagination to make the reader feel what the character perceives.
JESUS CHRIST: That may be where you begin to go on tangents and lose track of the story.
[4:57:49 PM] Gail Schuler: This is where I run the risk of inaccuracy.
JESUS CHRIST: You’ve acknowledged your tendency to do this with your videos in the past as well.
JESUS CHRIST: When we made them shorter, and kept them to 15 minutes, you noticed how concise and on track you stayed. (Jesus amended the rule for 15 minute videos around 2018).
[4:58:58 PM] Gail Schuler: So, even for a music video, you don’t want me to go over 15 minutes?
JESUS CHRIST: Yes.
[4:59:53 PM] Gail Schuler: Okay, because there was one music video, I recall, where you said it was okay. But it appears you want all my videos to not go more than 15 minutes.

JESUS CHRIST: You can think of it that way.

[5:13:12 PM] Gail Schuler: I also listened to my video presentation on the subject. Most of the information I got, was from brain-to-brain communications and my men just verified to me that they were accurate, but they didn’t go into detail.
JESUS CHRIST: You can use your brain-to-brain communications as references as well. I’m sure Brent can help fill in more information and he can get the other men to share more details that they remember as well. Some speculation is okay, but it should be a spice and not a main ingredient.
[5:15:06 PM] Gail Schuler: I think you are referring to speculation about REACTIONS to the events, which can be reasonably inferred from what happened. The speculation is more about the EMOTIONAL REACTIONS, but not about the EVENTS.
JESUS CHRIST: Yes, exactly.

JESUS CHRIST: You’ve got it now!

I know that I got a call from a “Jesuit” who was claiming that she had to endure semen enemas at a Jesuit compound and she was asking for my help. I gave my men this video of her phone call to me, and from there, I heard brain-to-brain that Vladimir went out to the compound with Hugh Jackman, and ran into an all woman Jesuit army. While there, he saw Barack’s decapitated head, with a force field around the head, that could only be deactivated with a nuke. Barack was begging Vladimir to kill him, because he did not like being alive with only a head.

They captured her and she ended up at this Jesuit compound, after Vladimir and Hugh Jackman went to look for her. Hugh used a bunch of robots to try to get into the compound, and it was no use. So, the torture for Vladimir, was not just the head of Barack Obama, but having to take out the all woman army and not being able to rescue the Jesuits taken prisoner?

That was when the women army appeared. The Jesuits may have known he was coming and were perhaps using the signal as a lure.

It breaks his heart because he’s a very soft person and adores children, and he knows that the children are being raised as Jesuits, but there’s nothing he can do about it. They were brainwashed at an early age and any attempts he makes to show them the truth would put both his and their lives at risk.

[3/30/2014 9:23:29 PM] Gail Schuler: 1) Matthew has a breakdown in his Church of Gail residence. He’s throwing tabloids, newspapers, and magazines all over the place and burning them with a lighter. Brent Spiner happens to knock on Matthew’s door and puts his arm around Matthew to escort him to Gerard Butler. Matthew says he feels overwhelmed because he knows he will win the Oscar for Dallas Buyers Club and just can’t handle the charade he will have to play as the husband of Camila. He tells Gerard that he had to appear with Camila at Critics Choice, SAG awards, Golden Globes for Dallas Buyers Club. Says he almost wants to faint at the thought of appearing with her at the Oscars.
Gerard offers Matthew some wine to calm him down. Matthew grabs it shaking. “Camila threatened to blow up Gail’s car, if I didn’t appear at all these events with her..” Gerard invites Brent to remain. Brent tells Matthew how he had handled with Loree McBride. Matthew tells Brent that Brent has never won an Oscar, and the resultant publicity that goes with it.
Church of Gail had armed Matthew with a stun gun to knock out Camila if she tried to attack Matthew. Matthew says that after his rounds with all these awards, he was so exhausted emotionally from all the charade of appearing in public with a woman he hates. He is not sure he will be able to function. He admits the stun gun malfunctioned and Camila was able to overcome him on several occasions.
Gerard suggests a surprise. If you appear with Camila at all the award ceremonies, she will naturally expect that she will be there with you at the Oscars. Ban her from the Oscars. How could I do that, he asks? We will send Church of Gail military to guard your limousine and ban her from it. Matthew’s hopes get up. He thinks, perhaps, he can make a grand slam at the Oscars, by not appearing with Camila. He’s thrilled at the thought.
2) He appears at his limousine with his mother. When he enters the limousine, Camila is inside all decked out in her Oscar evening gown. Jesuit technology apparently teleported her into the inside of his limousine. She threatens to blow up the Oscars and a bunch of animals, if Matthew acts like he can’t stand her at the Oscars. He feels like he’s ready to scream. He recalls his time in heaven with Jesus and this gives him some rare courage. He schemes in his mind how he can win against Camila in the public relations department, even though he is forced to tolerate her company again at the Oscars.
Thinking about Jesus gives him some rare courage. It is announced that he got the Oscar, he prays, and Jesus infuses him with rare courage. He decides to give a speech that indicates that Camila is not that important to him. He doesn’t mention her until the end, though to spare her from bombing people, he says he most needs her respect (hinting that if he doesn’t get it she will blow up everybody).
3) Camila realizes that Matthew’s speech was designed to denigrate her. So she unzips his pants, right in the middle of the Oscars, puts her mouth on his penis and bites it. Matthew shoves her off, almost screaming at the pain. Despite the pain, he holds on to his performance with her to have his Oscar statue engraved. Then takes off and runs away from her. She follows him, racing. He looks behind and she has given up the chase, and recognizes his clone has already replaced him. But he doesn’t care, he just wants to get away from Camila. The Oscars are over and at least he prevented the clone from making appearances with Camila at all these award events. But Church of Gail teleports him away from her. He hopes his clone can’t undo the damage he hoped he did to Camila by his Oscar acceptance speech.
4) He goes to Gerard Butler and tells him he hopes he never wins another Oscar again. Gerard tells him that Jesus will make it right somehow, and will honor Matthew for his faithfulness to Gail in his heart.
5) Matthew learns that Gail is writing this short story and feels a new freedom, a freedom to be authentic. With his Oscar speech being the climax of her short story about his Oscar experience, highlighting his courage in giving such an speech that was his attempt to reach out to those who could hear his true heart in the speech. He feels that perhaps, he did have a victory with Camila at the Oscars after all.
